Thanks to the help of our voluntary translators!

Welcome to the titanROSE Forums!

In order to preserve a friendly and fun environment, we at titanROSE Forums created a set of rules that are to be followed at all times.

- No religion or politics are to be discussed on these forums. We reserve the right to close topics that are on these subjects.

Consequences:

#1 degree: +20% warning level.
#2 degree: +20% warning level, possible posting rights suspension.
#3 degree: +20% warning level, posting rights suspension for up to 3 days or more depending on severity.
#4 degree: +20% warning level, posting rights suspended for up to 7+ days OR a ban for up to 7+ days.
Zero-Tolerance: Irreversible, undisputable permanent ban.

#1 degree violations
#1.1. Disrespectful or rude behavior towards other forum members resulting in a complaint by the offended party. Essentially, flaming.
#1.2. Posting a link to illegal files or bootleg versions of files.
#1.3. Spam (first time). Spam is defined as an unnecessary amount of posts OR making posts that add no new information to the thread. Example: "+1". The right way of agreeing would be: "I agree with the poster because _____".
#1.4. Intentional double posting (posting two posts in a row on a thread). The edit button is there for a reason. You will not be punished for double posting caused by lag, simply report the extra post for a moderator to remove it.
#1.5. Bumping a thread that is not in Marketplace section with a post that does not add new information. There is no reason to. If a thread dies in Comments and Suggestions, then let it die, no matter how "good" of a suggestion it might have been.
#1.6. Misuse of the "Report Post to a Moderator" button. This button is only to be used for reporting posts that violate any rules, or to request the closure/edit of a thread or deletion/edit of certain posts.
#1.7. Posting in an English language forum in a foreign language. This is primarily an English speaking forum, so in the general sections no other language than English will be tolerated.
#1.8. Posting a thread in the wrong section. Each forum section does include guidelines as to what types of threads should be posted within. If you are not sure where a thread should go, PM a moderator.
#1.9. Replacing a personal item (signature or avatar) that was removed by a moderator.
#1.10.Inappropriate/offensive names. This includes, but is not limited to sexual, racist, and/or otherwise lewd names, or names intended for the use of advertisement of any sort. This may result in receiving a name change. Validity of inappropriate/offensive names will be decided at the TitanRose Team's discretion."

#2 degree violations
#2.1. Posting a thread in the wrong section after multiple warnings or previous offenses.
#2.2. Excessive spam.
#2.3. Posting in an English language forum in a foreign language after multiple warnings.
#2.4. Cross-posting, or creating the same topic in multiple forums.

#3 degree violations
#3.1. Re-creating a thread that has recently been closed with an explanation by a moderator. To dispute closed threads, PM the moderator. Moderators SHOULD leave a reason for closing threads, even if the topic starter had requested the close in a post.
#3.2. Making libelous accusations against another forum member that cannot be supported by evidence. If you have any issues with another forum member, try to get a second opinion on it from a moderator first. If that doesn't solve your problem contact a higher up authority (GM/Admin).
#3.3. Consistent misuse of the "Report Post to a Moderator" button.
#3.4. Advertising a different ROSE server. You are allowed to say the names of other servers, but not attempt to persuade others to join. Also, the so-called "recruitment links" from many browser-based games to recruit new members are not tolerated outside of the appropriate section.
#3.5. Posting links to malicious sites like rickrolls with popups, or screamers.

#4 degree violations
#4.1. Impersonating another forum member, whether using one or multiple forum accounts. In the case of multiple accounts, the impostor account will be permanently banned and the main account will incur another punishment.
#4.2. Making libelous accusations against a staff member without providing evidence. If you have any issues with staff member try to solve it with that specific person. If that doesn't solve your problem contact a higher up authority (GM/Admin).
#4.3. Deliberate and intentional disobedience of instructions given by a staff member.

Zero-Tolerance Violations

ZT.1. Creating another forum account when your current account is banned or has its posting rights removed. The perm ban is incurred on the secondary account, and the main account will incur a doubling of its current restriction.
ZT.2. Posting pornographic or erotic images, or links to sexually explicit sites. Bear in mind that this is a forum accessed by all ages.
ZT.3. Advertising real-life products such as prescription drugs.
ZT.4. Impersonating a staff member.
ZT.5. Consistently and deliberately posting libelous accusations against a staff member.
ZT.6. Creating a forum account for the specific reason of flaming someone.
ZT.7. Creating multiple accounts to pretend that you're multiple people.

Handling of Warnings

The point of warnings is to make you aware of the rules we're trying to handle within these forums.
Each account can have a total of 100% on warnings. Every warning adds 20%, meaning you have 5 chances.

100% = Final warning. You will get a one day posting rights removal reminder when you reach 100%.
120% = Permanent ban.

Punishment Appeals

The key word for appeals is Respect.
We are aware that our judgments may not always be sound, and might sometimes feel unfair to you. If you think this goes for you the following steps needed to be taken:

- Wait out your punishment.
- Contact the staff member that gave you the punishment and ask for an explanation
- If after that you still feel unfairly treated and can explain this with good reasoning contact a different staff member or higher authority to review your situation.
- The admin his word is the final word in the matter. There is no further discussion after that. The admin his word will be based on the opinions of other staff members and his own, and will give out a final judgment from it.

***Do NOT appeal for friends as they are banned. This is a quick way to ensure an extension of their ban.

> Realize that warnings are not personal, but could be done as a crowd control. Simply ask for an explanation and try to understand why we would have acted in the way that we did.
> Regardless of the situation, rude behavior will never be tolerated within an appeal. Rude messages will be ignored. The staff are not here to be abused, we do this for free.
> There will be no discussion what so ever about permanent bans given out for the Zero-Tolerance violations or a level of 120% warnings.
> All other warnings can be removed by posting in the Warn Removal Requests thread 14 days after the warning was incurred, or in the case of a ban, 14 days after the ban has expired.

Regarding Signatures:

These are the standards we allow as a signature size:

When a moderator asks you to remove a part or all of your signature, you will comply in a timely fashion. If you won't remove it, we'll remove it for you and attach a 20% warning to that.

The following items are not allowed under any circumstances in either your signature or personal photos:
- Font size more than size 4
- Erotic or pornographic material, or links to sites containing this material.
* All women need to show some sort of top & bottoms, no nude or hair/hand covering on these area's.
- Text or pictures meant to degrade a person or persons, whether in this gaming community or in real life.
- Quotes from personal messages without given permission from the sender, or posted quotes that have been removed by the moderators.
- The maximum allowed file size of images in Signatures and Avatars is 250Kb
- Brightly flashing images or hypnotic images that can cause headaches or visual distortion to viewers will be removed.

Afterword

The titanROSE Moderating Team reserves the right to change these forum rules at any time. In the event of a rule change, the general public will be notified via either an announcement or a heads-up topic in General section.

With kind regards,

The titanROSE staff
